"Music Education in the Postmodern Era"
The online conference Musica viva in schola (XXX.) Takes place via Zoom platform. You find the link to the virtual conference room below (it will be active from Monday, October 18).
We recommend installing the ZOOM app. You will be asked to install it the first time you connect, or it can be installed manually – the installation file you find at https://zoom.us/download – you may choose an app for PC/MAC (Zoom Client for Meetings) and mobile devices (Zoom Mobile Apps). You will need to create a user account to run the application. If you already have the application installed, the system will notify you of the possibility of launching it before entering the conference room. However, you can also connect via an Internet browser (Join from Your Browser). It's better to use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge instead of other browsers. We also recommend using a stable Wi-Fi network or a network ethernet cable.
You will likely be required to provide your name before entering the online conference room. In this case, please write its full version (no abbreviations and nicknames) and eventually the name of your institution/school/company. Your entry will be approved by the administrator and will not allow participants with dubious, uncertain, or suspicious names to continue. If you use the ZOOM application, please check that your username has the above parameters. The change is made by clicking on the icon of your profile and then by clicking on the option "My Profile". The system redirects you to a web page where you can change your data using the "Edit" button.
Those who are interested in Dr. Daniela Taylor's workshop, which takes place on Wednesday, October 20 from 11:00, are recommended to get a paper or better plastic cup for practical testing of certain didactic tools.
By joining the conference, you agree to the following conditions:
- It is forbidden to make video, audio, or other recordings in the ZOOM program environment for the entire duration of the conference and to further distribute them without the consent of the organizers.
- If the participant does not speak, is not asked, or does not participate in the discussion, he leaves his microphone muted.
- All conference participants are obliged to follow the basics of netiquette and avoid any inappropriate behavior.
